This two-day safari adventure begins with an early morning pickup at 6:00 AM from your hotel or residence in Nairobi. The journey takes you to Lake Bogoria, with a scenic stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, offering breathtaking vistas and insights into ancient volcanic activity. At Lake Bogoria, you’ll immerse yourself in a captivating birdwatching experience, where over 450 bird species, including the vibrant flamingos, thrive. The visit also includes exploring the lake’s famous hot springs and geysers. After an enriching day, you’ll head to Nakuru for an overnight stay at the luxurious Sarova Woodlands Hotel. On the second day, after breakfast, you’ll set out for a three-hour game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park, renowned for its diverse wildlife. Here, you may encounter rhinos, buffalos, antelopes, waterbucks, and, with some luck, lions. Following the game drive, you’ll enjoy lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge before embarking on the return journey to Nairobi, arriving in the evening with unforgettable safari memories.
Day 1:
Nairobi - Lake Bogoria
You will be picked up from your hotel or residency within Nairobi at 06:00 and start the drive to Lake Bogoria for birdwatching. You will have a stop over at the Great Rift Valley view point and see the effects of Volcanic activities which happened many years ago. You will proceed to Lake Bogoria for a bird watching safari, hot springs and geysers. Day 2:
Lake Nakuru - Nairobi
After breakfast, you will leave for a 3 hours game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park. You will be able to spot plenty of wildlife e.g. Rhinos, buffalos, antelopes, water bucks and when lucky you can also see lions. Afterwards you will have lunch at lake Nakuru Lodge then start your journey back to Nairobi where you will arrive in the evening.
